OUR VISION

Exagenica is working towards a future where technology, innovation and entrepreneurship combine to solve some of mankind's most complex and challenging problems.

We envisage a world where the way we live our lives is harmonised with the environment and damaging industrial practices are replaced by non-harmful ones - realised through innovation.

As global citizens, consumers are more aware than ever that their purchasing decisions not only impact other people but the earth on which they live. In buying the goods or services of a company, customers recognise they are also supporting each and every one of that particular company's practices. Exagenica is a great believer in the ability to operate both commercially and responsibly. Responsible corporate practices do not need to mean smaller profits for enterprises. Unsurprisingly we believe this can be achieved through innovation. By applying technological solutions to the obstacles which have traditionally prevented businesses from being profitable and responsible. Which can both be achieved simultaneously. Technological ingenuity is not only a way to greater corporate responsibility but to greater overall profitability. It's imperative that leaders of industry and government adopt this mindset, so the human race can continue in its current evolutionary trajectory. Our vision of the future is one where enterprise and governments no longer accept damaging practices as necessary commercial evils. It's one where technological solutions are developed in partnership, to make those same practices redundant and more costly comparatively.

"Our vision is one of responsible innovation challenging commercial practices"

When it comes to access to basic resources like food and water, extreme disparity still exists across the globe. With many countries being categorised as 'undeveloped' or 'emerging' for this particular reason. Access to basic resources is considered by many to be a human right and rightly so. Lack of access to vital resources has been linked as a causal factor to everything from mortality rates and economic growth through to political instability. In the coming years, increased industrial pollution and continuing climate change are only expected to exacerbate the current resource inequality that exists globally. We envisage a world where technologies are actively developed by enterprises, to directly address the causes of global resource inequality. Building a solid platform for greater political stability. Regardless of geography or socio-economic standing, people will have the access they need to vital resources.

Companies have traditionally pursued research and development endeavours based on the potential commercial success and return on investment. However this approach has meant that some of life's biggest problems have simply gone unchallenged. We view this thinking as antiquated. Where there is a real need, there is a usually a commercial opportunity. Often the appropriate level of lateral thought, innovation or entrepreneurial spirit has simply not been applied to find a commercial solution. Capitalism and philanthropy can co-exist. At Exagenica, we envisage a world where technological ingenuity and creativity enables problems to be solved profitably. For the benefit of all and that's exactly the future we are striving to realise. Exagenica is committed to realising a future where the human condition and the earth that we live on have both been empowered by technology. An empowerment which is directly driven and achieved by entrepreneurship and commercial innovation - synergistically.

Education matters to society society as whole. It goes without saying, that every individuals chances of success in life are influenced heavily by access to education and the quality of it. In the developed world, many of us take education for granted. As kids we complain about being forced to attend school every day. However educational inequality exists and it's linked to everything from crime rates to slow economic growth. Education enhances the earnings potential of the poor, both in competing for jobs and earnings and as a source of growth and employment in itself. Unsurprisingly, its estimated that over 50% of all males and 70% of all females in the adult prison population achieve no qualifications at school or college. In the undeveloped world, school is often the domain of the rich. At Exagenica, we envision a world where access to quality education is a human right for all global citizens. Driving economic prosperity.

Our vision of the future is almost certainly one, where the human condition has not only been set free by technology but is truly empowered by it. We believe that through technology, science and medicine anything is achievable and high on our agenda is the empowerment of the human being. The mind is an immensely powerful thing. Yet so many of life's menial tasks are still undertaken by human beings. Which is made even worse by the fact that life itself is short. Technology has certainly freed us from many activities which were traditionally undertaken manually. We still have a long way to go before true emancipation has been achieved and our day to day lives are ours to live, freely. Whether it is in a corporate enterprise or personal lifestyle sense, the future will be one of technological empowerment. Enabling us to transcend the natural physical capacity of the human form - to achieve extraordinary feats.
